General

1. What is your privacy policy?

I never share any information. I treat each text, including those only submitted for price quotes, and each client's contact information with the upmost confidentiality.  Please note that for the duration of each project, it is often necessary to contact clients for questions concerning meaning in texts or concerning appointments. Three months after each project, I will delete your files.  However, your contact information will be kept, but it will only be used by me and never shared, sold or transfered. 

2. How do I pay you?

Please see my Rates page for details. For those in the EU and Switzerland, bank transfers are preferred. Credit cards & PayPal are accepted, but will be charged a 5% processing fee.

3. Do I have to be in Austria to use your services?

No! Due to e-mail, distance is no problem. As for payment, if you are in the  EU or Switzerland, I can accept payment in Euros by bank transfer.  Those from other countries will need either a PayPal account or a credit card for payment (with a 5% processing fee).

3. I'm looking for a job. Will you hire me?

I am unfortunatly not able to hire anyone at this time.  If you are interested in partnering and linking with me, please feel free to contact me.

Proofreading/Editing/Translating

1. How do I submit my text to you?

The easiest is by e-mail or Internet. Simply give me the web address or attach the file to your e-mail and send! If the text is on a CD/DVD or on paper, please contact me for my mailing address.

2. How will I get my text back?

Unless you tell me otherwise, electronic files (e-mail, CD/DVD, websites) will be returned to you per e-mail. When the original is a Microsoft Word or Open Office Write document, changes will be marked using the Track Changes feature.  You will also receive a clean copy with all changes accepted.

3. How long will proofreading/editing take?

Most short texts can be finished within 1 week. However, I will discuss the deadlines with you upfront.  Rush deadlines will be charged extra.

4. What formats do you accept?

Multiple formats are accepted: Microsoft Office, Open Office (.odt), PDF, and websites. Please contact me about any other formats. 

5. What if I have questions after the corrections are made?

Please feel free to write me an e-mail or give me a call! Just contact me.

6. Do you translate from English into German or any other combination?

No. I only translate from French or German into English. 

English Tutoring & Seminars

1. What do I do if I want group lessons, but don't know anyone else who wants them too?

Just let me know that you are interested.  I sometimes have other students in a similar situation. However, there are no guarantees that I will find someone. 

2. Does everyone have to be at the same level for group lessons?

It is helpful, but not absolutely necessary.  If everyone in the group is in agreement, I will tailor my teaching to the group.

3. Where will the lessons take place?

I usually meet business professionals in their office. Students normally meet at my apartment in the 3rd district (near Rennweg), but other arrangements can be made.

4. My office needs work on presentation skills in English (or any other theme).  Can you help us?
